Step-by-Step DataFlow Primary Source Verification (PSV) Workflow

Before a medical license is issued, the Dubai Health Authority mandates Primary Source Verification (PSV) conducted through the DataFlow Group to authenticate your medical degree, internship, and clinical experience.

1

Step 1: Create Your Sheryan Portal Account

Navigate to the official Dubai Health Authority online services portal (Sheryan) and register as an individual medical professional. Once registered, a Unique Professional ID will be generated for your licensing profile.

2

Step 2: Assemble Mandatory Verification Documents

Prepare high-resolution color PDF scans of:

  • Basic Medical Degree (MBBS / MBChB / MD): Primary medical qualification diploma and consolidated marks transcripts.
  • Internship Certificate: Proof of completion of at least 12 months rotatory internship post-graduation.
  • Clinical Experience Certificates: Minimum 2 years of continuous, post-internship active clinical practice as a General Practitioner.
  • Certificate of Good Standing (CGS): Issued by your home country medical licensing board within the last 3 months.
  • Valid Passport Copy: Minimum 6 months validity.
3

Step 3: Submit DataFlow Verification & Pay Fees

Submit your application through the dedicated DataFlow DHA portal. DataFlow directly contacts your university, hospital administration, and medical board. The typical verification timeframe is 15 to 25 business days.

4

Step 4: Receive DHA Eligibility Letter

Upon positive PSV completion and review by DHA credentialing officers, your Sheryan portal status transitions to Approved and issues your official DHA Eligibility Letter. This document contains your Eligibility ID required to book your Prometric exam.

5

Step 5: Schedule Prometric Exam & Pass

Visit the Prometric scheduling portal, select Dubai Health Authority, input your Eligibility ID, and choose your preferred testing date and test center. You have up to 3 attempts within your 1-year eligibility window.
